CentrePiece, part 11. Jesus says “In the world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world”.

Part 10. Why did Jesus come? To “seek and to save the lost”. He came to reach the broken, the fallen, the despised, the guilty, the ashamed. He came to reach you and me.

Part 9. Jesus has come and conquered Satan. For all of us who are in Christ, when Jesus wins, we win. As Romans 8 proclaims: “we are more than conquerors through him who loved us”.

CentrePiece, part 8. We’re in a culture that loves new things. Rather than fixing something broken, we replace it with the latest model. But Jesus doesn’t give up on us. He takes the broken world and makes it new.

Part 7. Jesus is a fully emotional person, and lives a very rich and colourful emotional life. Experiencing emotions is not a barrier to Godliness. Instead, we can learn to use them well for the good of ourselves and others.
