You will lead our team of deacons, support the eldership, and engage trustee teams by implementing and overseeing the strategic and operational side of church life, impacting lives, and transforming futures.

Key Responsibilities:

— Maintain site management and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Essential Experience:

— Strong leadership and management skills
— Experience in recruiting and developing staff and volunteers
— Financial management expertise
— Knowledge of charity law and governance
— Previous experience in serving in a local church setting

Primary Age Kids Lead

We’re looking for someone who can create and maintain the 6-11s ministry at King’s. We want to ensure that ‘Sunday Kids’ is a place where children can hear the gospel, be equipped for a life of faith and build lasting friendships in a relevant, engaging, and fun way.

Hours: 2 days per week (15 hours); includes two Sunday meetings in a month.

Responsibilities: Working out the Family Teams Vision into a Kids Setting. You will be responsible for ensuring Sunday Kids is fun, engaging and a place where 6-11s grow in their relationship with God and each other. You will also be responsible for building equipping and envisioning the Sunday Kids team, creating a space where they can thrive in their God given gifts. You will be responsible for following ensuring our safeguarding policy is followed in all primary aged events. You will be a key part in creating and presenting content for both a midweek and Sunday morning setting. 

As part of our family team at King’s, we want you to continue growing in your relationship with Jesus and bringing that to all you do, leading, inspiring, and loving people to grow themselves as followers of Jesus.

Site Caretaker 

We are looking for a Site Caretaker to join the team at King’s Church/Centre Eastbourne.

Site Caretaker

Key tasks 

The main responsibilities include assisting the Site Supervisor in maintaining the premises to a high standard, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene, providing quality service to users, and upholding security and health & safety measures. Additionally, tasks involve setting up rooms for events, packing down after use, moving furniture, assisting with Church activities, and carrying out some general maintenance and cleaning duties.

As one of the staff team it is important to promote a positive image of the church and reflect our core values within the community. 

Hours: 14 hours per week
Days: mid-week, and Sundays
Closing Date: 12th April 2024
