Part 5. The command to not murder is simple, but in Matthew 5 Jesus explains that anyone who is angry with his brother is guilty of the same thing. Jesus’s primary concern is the root, not the fruit. Get the root right and good fruit will follow.
If there was anyone in the Bible who had cause to be wrapped up in bitterness and unforgiveness, it was Joseph. But instead of holding onto the past he realised that all the turmoil and sufferings he experienced we’re being used by God to save his people.
